Jorgen Cieslik trained under Gary Heatlie, Art Eyes in Johannesburg and the eye institute in Pretoria for a number of years before starting his own practise in Krugersdorp. He is involved in practises in Nelspruit, Klerksdorp and runs a monthly prosthetic clinic at St. John’s Eye Hospital in Chris Hani Baragwanith Hospital. Jorgen is a member of the OASA (Ocularist Association of Southern African). He has been practicing for the past 15 years.

He has fitted about 10 000 prostheses and numerous facial prosthetics as well as being involved in numerous studies, projects and congresses. Through the networks and relationships created by Jorgen, he is able to advise and assist with relevant and up-to-date information with regards to implants, surgical procedures, care of the prosthesis and socket hygiene.

By using the latest techniques and materials in the making of ocular prosthesis, Jorgen is able to produce optimal cosmesis and results for his patients.
